Building communities together
We are a family-run non-profit organisation set up to improve health and education for people in Nepal.
The Foundation is named after our sister Kalpana who has cerebral palsy. Our parents started a day centre for disabled children in Butwal (Nepal) in 1994 from our family home with four other parents who had children with disabilities. This was one of the first in Nepal and brought a massive awareness of learning disabilities locally and nationally. Today, the centre has grown significantly and is attended by more than 200 people with learning disabilities.
This has been the source of inspiration. We aim to continue our parent's legacy and continue helping disadvantaged individuals in our communities in Nepal with a particular focus on improving health and education.
