About Us

Kalpana Foundation is a family-run nonprofit dedicated to creating meaningful change in the lives of individuals across Nepal. Our journey began in 1994, inspired by our sister, Kalpana, who has cerebral palsy. Recognizing the lack of support for children with disabilities, our parents opened one of Nepal’s first day centres for children with learning challenges in Butwal. What started as a small initiative in our family home has grown into a thriving foundation that now supports over 200 individuals.

At Kalpana Foundation, we believe every person deserves access to education, healthcare, and the opportunity to reach their full potential. Our programs focus on inclusive education, health initiatives, and community empowerment, helping individuals thrive in their daily lives.

We are committed to building stronger communities, nurturing talents, and advocating for the rights and dignity of all individuals. Every life we touch strengthens our belief that change is possible, and together, we can create a more inclusive and compassionate Nepal.
